For 2011, 636 aircraft were based at VNY including 184 Jets, 57 helicopters, 368 propeller aircraft.
Notes
- Prior to 1966, S-E, M-E and Privately Owned Military Jets were totaled together.
- Prior to 1996, S-E and M-E Turboprop aircraft were totaled with S-E and M-E Jet Aircraft.
- In 1997, Privately Owned Military Aircraft were separated from Armed Forces Military Aircraft.
- In 1997, corrections were made to the 1992 and 1995 aircraft counts due to previous errors.
- Based City General Services, Fire and LAPD Air Support Group Helicopters inadvertently left out between 1994-1996.
