
Jacqueline Yaft, Deputy Executive Director of Operations and Emergency Management
Jacqueline Yaft assumed the position of Deputy Executive Director for Operations and Emergency Management at Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) on July 13, 2009.
As head of Operations and Emergency Management, Yaft is responsible for airside, terminal and landside operations at all LAWA airports, as well as the Emergency Management Division.
Professional Experience Yaft came to LAWA from the Denver International Airport (DIA) where she held the position of Assistant Deputy Manager of Aviation. She had been at DIA since 1999.
Prior to coming to Denver, she held positions at JFK International Airport in New York and Kansas City International Airport in Missouri.
Educational Background Yaft holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from the Metropolitan State College of Denver and a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She is actively pursuing the American Management Professional Accreditation Program offered by Airports Council International – North America. .
Professional Associations She is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives.
